My understanding is that Hampson never described H. coryphoea, but just drew a picture of it. Amongst other things, his picture shows a zigzag white line across the middle of the forewing. Wallengren in describing H. sinuata in Latin says the forewings are "fuscis punctae discoidali ... flavo-albidis " which I interpret to mean "brown with round pale yellow spots".
