Interesting point, John. All I can think is that this may be a fairly recently emerged individual and the pterostigmata haven't cured to their normal dark colour yet. It is the case that in some species the pterostigmata do darken with age; I don't know how much or even if this applies to Cordulephya. Even so, they really are quite white, not even a tan colour. I've just gone through all of my photos of the species and in all cases the pterostigmata are dark. In all other respects, however, the individual in your photos does look to me like a standard C. pygmaea.
