Good clear photograph but we will not be able to identify this skink from this angle - it most likely is Pseudemoia entrecasteauxii. Several other similar species in this area have "windows" in the lower eyelid. Do you have any more photos of this individual.

Hi again- the orange circle is in fact a bunch of red mites - so it is not a breeding colour. Still need to rule out P. pagenstecheri and less likely Acritoscincus duperreyi.
Yes the mites in the arm pit is a trap for young players! If you plan to photograph hand held specimens you need to show a few more angles. Skinks are hard enough to id at the best of times.
