Four plants seen in area under gums, may be others nearby. Edited to add photos of seedheads and leaves as requested.

Do you have a photo of the seed head, which is better than flowers for IDing? Photo 1 only has the stem. Without seed heads, you need a good closeup of the back of a leaf clearly showing the hairs to have any chance of IDing to species level.

Thanks Jacky - hairs spread across underside of leaf and vastly uneven spines on fruit identify this as Aceana ovina
