Lisa, do you remember if the gills where white? In the photo they look darker but this may just be an artefact of the shadowing.

I've looked back at non-flash photos, and it does look like the gills were darker, rather than white?

Hmmmmm...if they are darker, that rules out Chlorophylllum/Macrolepiota.
