The sepals I can see appear to be hairless externally when blown up, which makes it stricta. The external surface of calycina sepals has simple hairs overtopping star shaped hairs. This requires an excellent photo that does not blur when blown up.

Thanks for the explanation Betty - yes this photo is good and when I enlarge it I also can't see any hairs on the sepals

Flowering shoots collected 9 Jan 2018 from three plants and examined under binocular microscope; simple hairs present on calyx.
