If you wish to get it IDd to subspecies level take some in to the botanic gardens when it flowers next spring.

Will do. As I mentioned to Michael M, I will make a list of plants to check in spring/summer. I’ll take more detailed photos, and a sample where ID is uncertain.

To get an ID of Pimelea curviflora to subspecies level, it really needs to be looked at in the hand. It is possible in theory to do it from photos if you have taken the relevant macros, but in practice, not worth trying.
