Perhaps. How tall was it? What was the diameter of the flower? A pity you did not clear away the bits of bark etc so the basal leaves could be seen in the photo.
It might be a Brachyscome. Did it look as if the developing seeds were a burr or not?

I've added the full photo of the plant for a better scale estimate. It would have been no more than 15cm tall, so the flower must have been approx. 2-3cm. The leaves did not go to the top of the flower and I can see on my photo that the leaves have small serrations. From my close up photo, the back of the flower is hairy. It was located in a forested area. Sorry that's all I have. I can't remember anything else!

Probably OK. With no information on basal leaves the ID is less certain. I am still not 100% sure it is not a Bracyscome. It is very short for Calotis scabiosifolia. Other features of that species are the rough stems and leaves and the fact that it is colonial.
