I would be interested to know how you were able to distinguish this from Helicoverpa punctigera? I find them difficult to separate by forewing patterns alone.
Hi Don, I'm not an expert. I looked at the photos on CNM and it looked most like Helicoverpa armigera. None of the photos of the Helicoverpa punctigera seemed to have the same markings on the wings. Happy to be corrected.
