Many plants in this are have successfully flowered this year but due to my late arrival and the reluctant flowering of the remaining plants I have not been able, as yet, to photograph a single open (blue) flower in spite of several (3) visits so far.
Yes most flower stems have been fertilized in the area. These 2 still had a single flower each still to open several days earlier but I arrived just after it clouded in time to see the last petal close. I have found another 5 or 6 plants in a more shaded area still to open. If I get the right sun/weather conditions and they don't self pollinate without opening I may still get a photo. Derek
