According to the references, A, rubrescens is widespread in Australia and varies greatly in colouration from light grey-brown to pink.

Yes, the ground colours of the two species seem to overlap. I relied on the wing patterns of the ANIC specimens for the identification.

Yes, I wasn't confident about this one, clearly H. punctigera is correct. A very widespread species going by the map of records of the species on the ALA.
