Guys the rare variety of Hypoxis hygrometrica has two or three flowers on the one stems as opposed to one. I can't tell from this photo, but it looks like there may be more than one flowwer per stem - could you please check this. Thanks Michael

I will have a look this afternoon or tomorrow. I don't think they had 2 flowers per stem, just that there were a lot of plants growing closely together, but I will have a good check.

At least a third of the plants had 2 flowers per stem and the stems were hairy, so proabably they are the rarer two flowered hairy weather grass.

I have looked at all the sightings on Farrer Ridge in detail and think they all have some of the 2 flowered species.
