This looks like Rainbow Fungus - but will leave it to Heino to confirm

Perhaps, perhaps not. The Rainbow Fungus (Trametes versicolor) is variable, with the concentric colour bands ranging from blue-greys through to browns. When you get to the browns the chances of the fungus being something else increase, because shades of brown are common colours. I might have to stroll over there and see if I can find it and also have a general look at that wetland area.
