Anyone want a secondhand Samsung? I checked on Google Maps for the correct location before I took the photo and the coordinates came out wrong for the photos.
Hmm this is really weird Mike. So on the Google Maps app, did the location look accurate? If so, then it might be a bug with the Android app and I'd like to maybe meet up to do some testing on your phone at some stage..
Google maps drifted for a few seconds then settled within a few metres. Then I went to Canberra Nature Map to record with the photo. It seems to have lost the GPS and switched to a phone tower on Farrer Ridge. Very frustrating because I bought the phone because my xamera GPS was usually out several metres and was slow.
Ok hang in there Mike, I'll investigate this one in full. It's possible it's a bug in the app, but not certain. I can see the model of your device too, will be in touch.
From the flowers and fruit, I think this has to be a Euphorbia sp., but it is not anything recorded for the ACT. If possible, it would be worth sending a specimen to Dave Albrecht at the herbarium to check the ID. It is almost certainly an introduced species - does it appear to have become naturalised?
