Thanks Ken for a photo of the underside of the leaves, what is distinctive for Hibbertia calycina is that the mid-rib on the lower surface is below the level of the folded in leaf margins
Thanks for this Michael, yes I misinterpreted the illustrations and descriptions in PlantNET for this one, bit annoyed about that as I haven't seen this one before and now wish I'd spent more time looking at it!
