I need a closeup (or your description) of the leaves to make sure of the ID. Leucopogon virgatus has narrow leaves with a long drawn out point. Leucopogon microphyllus var. pilibundus has obtuse leaves with a recurved tip.
Betty, I'm hopeless in capturing images on the iPhone screen so I acknowledge that it's not a clear shot, but I recall that the leaves were long and narrow.
The important thing is whether the leaves have a long drawn out point or the tips obtuse with a tip curved down. Could you have a look even if you cannot get a photo.
