Do you think this was planted deliberately, or sown by seed dispersal, or grown from a sucker?
What environment are they growing in?
I am gathering the data of Callery Pear naturalisations in Australia, and am preparing a paper which I would be very happy to share with you. I think there will need to be action across Australia to avert an environmental catastrophe. Callery Pears are now banned in 5 USA states, and other US states are probably going to follow suit. USA is a couple of decades ahead of us in the widespread planting of the Callery Pear, so we can see what will happen if we don't act.
