The algae are in rafts on the top of the water - Phormidium and other b/gs + spirogyra + Rhizoclonium. There are large numbers of Chlorohydra viridis often with several heads, in among the algal flakes. Note: 3rd Nov - some clown set fire to the creek upstream of Yass Rd roundabout tonight. 4th Nov creek running well - i got yabbies and mudeyes for the Orana spring fair display.; Aquatic Veg: algae, emergents; Bank Veg: mostly exotic weeds; Overhead Canopy: starting tobe good; Landscape: the restored creek is over the road (High st) upstream; QAQC Notes: Audio cassette, Photo printed b&w, Also reported C. parins??? But not on tape.
