Assara holophragma

Assara subarcuella and A. holophragma are similar species  that have been recorded in the ACT.  The elongate white patch along the forewing contrasts more strongly with the dark backgroung in A. subarcuella, and it has only tiny dark marks within it. In A. holophragma, there is usually a dark line across the white patch just inside the middle of the forewing, and there are other small dark marks.
