We may have to review Rhipicera (Agathorhipis) femorata sightings. Rhipicera (Agathorhipis) genus & subgenus are very similar.

According to Jin et al. 2013 (cited below), the only species of Rhipiceridae recorded from the Canberra district is Rhipicera femorata. A similar species (R. reichei) has a wide inland range, but the closest recorded localities for it are Wagga and Ardlethan in NSW.
