User's notes

A rare wet-weather visit to my garden by a small flock of fairy wrens, one male and 2 to 3 females. they may have been attracted by rainwater in a discarded container which they were dive bombing rapidly in turn, too fast to capture with camera,

This year we have seen a flock of about 10 wrens regularly visiting this part of Higgins.

Too right. Our Landcare groups ongoing restoration of the remnant Blakelys Redgum grassy woodland reserves in Brazel and Cantor Sts seems to be drawing in some new or rarely seen birds.
