User's notes

The two male fledglings from sighting 4638428 (first seen 12/1/25) and their family stayed around the area for the day. This was the same area they were first seen when newly fledged. The family moved from the trees where the newly discovered female chick and her family spent their time, to a nearby shady copse. To my surprise, the fledglings stayed put all day, while mum and dad flew off to feed, then came back to feed their chicks, and repeat. The day was very warm, and later in the day the birds all looked stressed - beaks open, wings held out from their body. After mum fed one of the chicks (I didn't stay that long), the family of four just hung around in the shade, resting - and quite low in the tree (where I guess it was cooler).

The skin patch around the eye of the male looks distinctive which may help Tom Tyrrell determine if this is a known pair - possibly Vikki's

Thanks Michael. Tom T confirms that the date of first sighting of these male fledglings (12/1/25) is before Vicky's hollow fledged; and that these fledglings did not have the distinctive eye ring from Cam's hollow fledgling, which fledged 9-10/1.
