Previously identified as Asparagus officinalis Asparagus officinalis (Asparagus) but it is not that.
Possibly Asparagus virgatus.
Stiff perennial with small orange fruit and single round seed.

Thanks Mike aspargus virgatus does not seem to be a good fit either can you collect or try and photograph a flower

I went looking for https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/18769961 Asparagus virgatus on Red Hill for comparison and found that it was Asparagus officinalis. This Mawson sighting looks quite different.
