The tree is quite large and tall, and the hollow being investigated is right up the top, at the fork of the tree - I can't see how it would be suitable (looks open, more likely to be a watering hollow), but then I'm not a gang gang cockatoo! I've added a photo of the tree to illustrate - it's pretty impressive, not noticed until the gang gang brought it to my attention.
