In grassy woodland; young Acacia decurrens (see de-current wings) cut and dabbed and mapped with Field Maps Treated Weeds 2024/25 under "Woody Weeds". The decurrent "wings" along stems are a useful identification feature for this species; in older trees check out branches with young foliage.
The scientific name "decurrens" from the Latin means “decurrent” and refers to the leaf petioles that extend down the stem as a ridge or wings.
