I know these trees, I drive past them a few times every week and admire them. Lovely spot near the Shoalhaven River. I wonder how old the largest tree is?

The literature says that on average, the oldest Eucalypts in southern Australia are 400 to 500 years old. With some notable exceptions such as the river red gum. Old river red gums have been aged at 950 years (radio carbon dating of heartwood).
Eucalyptus have opportunistic growth rates, responding more to temperature and water availability than day length. So if the species and individual have a high intrinsic growth rate and are growing on a good site then the Eucalypt could grow large relatively quickly. That could explain the size of this planted tallowwood Eucalyptus microcorys (Tallowwood)
