Jane, many thanks for correct id. Please delete these close-up photos as they are confusing. It is my collection 10500, and my notes follow:
Culm to 1.5 m x 5 mm, triquetrous. Involucral bract to 40 mm. Spikelets c. 7, 29 mm x 4 mm. Glumes to 3.5 mm, pale with darker veining towards non-retuse mucro [i.e. not pungens], margins not entire. Hypygynous bristles 6, to 2.0 mm, retrorsely barbed. Stamens 3: anthers 0.9 mm long, filament 1.2 mm. Style trifid, nut unequally trigonous, black-brown and shiny.
