The awns potentially look a bit too long for Deyeuxia quadriseta. I'm wondering if this could be an immature Dichelachne.

In dry forest I would also wonder about an immature Austrostipa densiflora? Agree it doesn't look like Deyeuxia.

Saw some similar looking plants at Black Mountain today. I am happy this is Dichelachne sp and quite possibly D. micrantha.
