Wow, that could be the blue-banded bee burrow that it's going to parasitise!

That's entirely possible, Helen. The blue-banded bees are present. I just put up my husband's photos of his sighting of the BBBs in December. The burrow in the above photo was sealed up the next day when he went to check on it.
