Closer to 12mm in length than 25mm (although I suspect that's not what I'm supposed to be measuring?)

Thank you! At first, I wasn't sure if the golden colours weren't just a trick of the light, reflecting from the smooth flower petals. But the bee just looked different to others I'd seen, and now I know it was!
