Another interesting sighting. Appears very much like Toxidia rietmanni to me, however, due to the similarity of many skippers, would prefer to see both upper and underside images before committing to an id.

It's a shame I couldn't get any other photos but will endeavour to return to the location as that would be a very interesting sighting.

Thanks for the work in identifying, turns out last weekend was very productive for me with a new species of butterfly for Canberra & Southern Tablelands Nature Map on both days.
