I came across this image when I was looking for other sightings of a Williamsita wasp. (I could well be wrong, but thought I'd make the suggestion in case it helps).

Thanks Faye, good suggestion. I’ve changed the ID from Bembecinus to Williamsita, based on the wing venation, and the rounded shape of the head as shown in Insects of Australia, as well as the closer colour match, orange rather than browny yellow
