Nationally endangered though known from this area, all records that help us understand the post fire response of this species are of interest.

Large population growing on granite outcrop. At least 100 plants.

Had you been here last year you would have found thousands. I haven't checked most of my sites yet, but those I have found are in very low numbers compared to the last two seasons. I imagine that disturbance benefits this one.

Interesting to hear your observations. I visited this site around 2008 and there were a handful of plants in the general area and in 2009 I don't think we found any.
