It is a species that I have seen in a number of places, nearly always on pea flowers, but like many Euhesma species it does not yet have a name.

No. The genus is Euhesma in the family Colletidae, but the subfamily Euryglossinae. They are pollen swallowers and do not have hairs for carrying pollen to the nest.
