User's notes

Approximately 50 tussocks in an area of 65 square meters of grassy woodland. Mapped also with Field Maps / Untreated weeds 2022/23. I monitored and treated (and reported to the land manager) ALG in this area for about 15 years - I didn't monitor over the past 3 LaNina years which started in Feb 2020; unfortunately, it spread again. Mowing by land manager (3rd photo) most likely helped further spread as did work on the Casuarina trail at ALG peak seeding season further north; ALG was recorded with CNM in June 2022, see https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/4437748 and mapped by a ranger with Field Maps on the 7th Dec 2022 just before the trail work; for more records of ALG at this site see https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/4460761 Bravo to the land manager Parks and Conservation Service for speeding up the spread of this invasive pest!
