Moths of Victoria have provided detailed notes suggested distinguishing features to distinguish similar looking Amelora (genus) species, especially, A. demista, A. zophopasta and their 'Amelora sp. 3.' - all species whch show a pale-centred black spot in each forewing. A diagnostic feature used is whether a line of dots parallel to the outer edge of the forewing is more or straight or curved in these distinguished species. However the line of spots is apparently absent or very faint in this specimen, so I am suggesting and identification to the Amelora (genus) level only.
