User's notes

Slow, gliding flight around treetops. Landed high in eucalypt near mistletoe, too high for better pictures. Eggs were found on the same mistletoe. Possibly butterfly eggs? Several groups of eggs seen elsewhere on same plant.

Unfortunately these are not Imperial Jezebel eggs in image 4. For an example of an IJ egg refer to enlarged image by Ken Walker on @donhe 's http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/pier/harpalyce.html website page.

Thanks Owen. I have removed the photo of the eggs from this sighting. Do you have any idea what they might belong to? Is it worth putting this and some other photos from the same mistletoe into another sighting?

Hi Cath, Sorry, I haven't a clue as to what the eggs may be. Definitely worth posting as a new sighting with any other photos you have.
