The ACT Census of Vascular Plants lists Sifton bush as Exotic [Aust]; I think the change of status from local to exotic was not so long ago.

Yes I'm not sure what to think of it myself, currently I'm treating it as if it is just be an error on the census (there are quite a few of those if you look around).
