Closer to 12 than 25 mm. Also very hard to photograph since it wouldn't stop still plus any time the camera came close it tried to climb onto the lens.

Yeah I finally realised that. It needs a hyphen between wasp and mimicking so it is wasp-mimicking ... one word and an adjective describing the beetle.
