@Ange not sure whether this is in an area you look after or not but if this is only a small infection worth getting on top of now - or getting your neighbouring land managers to do so.

Hi Michael,
Probably already too late. There is already a big infestation of these out at the end of the track at Shepherds Lookout. I also don't think there is a land care group for this area. See Bidens sp. (Cobbler's Pegs, Farmer's Friend)

Thanks for the heads up Michael. It's managed by ACT Parks but immediately adjoins our patch. Will have a look, but yes as Alison mentioned this species is rampant in lookout area, the river edge below the lookout and along the Bidgee in these parts. It's a real pain. We try and keep it out of the good areas.
