Adult from larva Hyalarcta huebneri (Leafy Case Moth) collected 2 Nov 22 before I discovered its lifecycle was fairly well documented, unlike the other 93% of Australian moths. Fed on Acacia cultriformis which is the plant I found it on. It would not eat Acacia pravissima. Perhaps larvae prefer the species they are born on. Larva attached its case to the top of the container on 21 Dec 22. Pupal case was exerted on 27 Jan 23 after 38 days and adult male moth emerged. Behaviour swung from hyperactive to catatonic so I couldn't get great photos.
