Part of FOG MGD hunting weekend. Flowering, several large plants (30-40cm high) flowering profusely, others mostly basal tufts or with numerous stems of unopened flowers. Centre point - area approx 42m x 13m, scattered patches (various size) and individual plants. South side road verge - southeast of showground entrance. Basaltic soil. Flat ground with continuous ground cover (mainly grass) between many large exposed rocks. MGD interspersed amongst grass, native forbs and other veg.
