Not much (photographic) reference material out there on this genus other than on Peter Lang's excellent 'Buprestids of SA' web site. Although this beetle has an obvious depression through injury to its left elytron, i was wondering if the two depressions on its pronotum are indicative to species level? Peter's pictures of D. transsecta show this clearly and overall colouration is the same but there are other features of these species that are not parallel.
It looks like a small species that would correspond with transsecta however identification is difficult without having the specimen available to key it out.
