I could not work out what this square insect was at first - but then figured it was a female spider carrying little spiderlings?

This one is a Celaenia sp. Bird-dropping spider!
It's either Celaenia excavata or C. atkinsoni. Both in range. I'd be more likely to go with atkinsoni

Also, this is just their shape (mimicking bird-dropping!) wolf spiders are the only spiders in Australia to carry their spiderlings on their backs :)
