Erect shrub, almost covered in 1000's of (old) tiny flowers, small elongate "Conifer like" leaves. Only 3 plants along this Track location, that I could see. Suspect it's not a local species ? Wind dispersed tiny seeds.
It is local (Mts Majura/Ainslie) Max. The species wasn't visible during 2000-2010 drought and heavy rabbit grazing (rabbits love young Cassinia). I noticed the first Sifton bush plants around 2013 growing in the paddock; over the past years more started to grow for instance along the transmissions powerline easement. Farmers don't like them as they can become "weedy".
