Escapes from Federal Highway plantings. The third photo shows plants north of the fence between the strip along Federal Highway and nature reserve. Most are small in the 20cm to 1m category as shown in the second photo; some are in the 1-2 m category, an example is shown in the first photograph. FoMM volunteers started to remove these invaders however removal of these woody weeds is the second time in less than 8 years. As long as the source of the invasion is not removed invasion will continue....
I totally agree and there are massive Snowy River Wattles too which have been planted along Fed Highway and which are highly invasive; I have been taking them out and followed up several times including at Mt Majura's summit.
