This is an untidyness that we should fix,. The Oecophorinae were for a long time treated at subfamily level along with some other subfamilies such as Stennomatinae (see Checklist and still AFD), but all are now usually recognised as families, as in moths in the ACT. We should merge Oecophorinae into Oecophoridae.
