Having a little difficulty gauging size of these flowers. Were the flowers much smaller than the A. exsertus in the area? If so this could be A. pusilla; if not then likely A. exsertus.
Hi Matt, The flowers were definitely smaller than the A. exsertus but not that much. The stems themselves were mostly 10cm or less whereas the confirmed A. exsertus was larger but it didn't occur to me to measure the flowers.
Yes agree with you both here. I saw some Acianthus this season at Bungonia that were very small but otherwise matched exsertus and am thinking size can be variable in these
