A few of this species have appeared in one of the swales in Bragg St Park Hackett.

In Alternanthera philoxeroides, the leaves are sessile and rounded as in this specimen, and fruits are petiolate, not sessile as in this specimen. This could be Alternanthera sp.A
There are several useful photos on CNM you could check for your specimen.
if Bragg St swales, then the location needs to be edited.
