Derek, I had a chat with Lachlan Copeland a couple of weeks ago and he suggested that we had reflexa and not ampliatum. I showed him some images of plants from a few locations and he was convinced most were reflexa but agreed some plants looked more like ampliatum. I will get some good side on photos over this season and discuss with him later.
Matt, I had seen Lachlan and Garry's comments in their book. You had previously recorded some smaller flowers at Bluett's Block as D. reflexum along with D. ampliatum. I am happy with that, but I would be concerned if we just changed all at this stage. I suspect we have both, which if true will be interesting. I assume this also your belief? Derek.
We definitely have both. I had a quick gander at Bluetts Block yesterday and found some small plants that are a good fit for D. reflexum. Fortunately the majority of CNM records of D. ampliatum, are in fact D. ampliatum, so we don't need to change much.
